I made 4 double rubbish & recycle bins for the Camberwell Hockey Club in Melbourne. These were made from merbau.

I mitred the lids to ensure there was no exposed end grain.

We agreed on an oil finish which I've found to be the best for outdoor furniture. It will need to be re-applied annually to maintain the natural red colour of the merbau.
